How to get your OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate) through the DMW Mobile App (eGOV App DMW)

📱 1. Install & Register

  1. Download DMW Mobile App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. ofwguide.com

  3. Set a new password when prompted, and complete any verification (OTP, etc.).

🖋️ 2. Upload Required Documents

  1. Upload a clear photo of your passport’s bio page and your working visa/permit.
  2. Upload your employment contract (required for contract verification).

🔍 3. Apply for OEC

  1. Tap “OEC Application” from the main menu. dmwguide.com
  2. Fill in: passport details, contract info, flight schedule, etc.
  3. Submit your application. The app sends it for backend contract verification by DMW/POLO. dmwguide.com

⏳ 4. Check Status (QR Color)

  • In the app’s home dashboard, observe the QR code indicator:
    • Red = pending/incomplete
    • Green = OEC approved and ready

🛂 5. Use or Print Your OEC

  • Show the green QR code at the airport immigration or airline check-in. Digital copy is accepted. dmwguide.com
  • For peace of mind, you can also print multiple copies once the system allows.
  • Note: OEC is valid for 60 days per issuance. dmwguide.com

✅ 6. Transition to OFW Pass (Optional)

The app also supports the OFW Pass, which will eventually replace the OEC:

  • It’s a QR‑based digital ID valid for the duration of your contract.

  • Always ensure contract details match exactly (no non-English characters) to avoid delays. dmwguide.com
