As of March 25, 2024, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia has raised the Saudization quotas for the consulting sector from 35% to 40%. This adjustment applies to various professions within consulting, such as financial consulting, business consulting, cybersecurity consulting, and project management. The decision to raise these requirements was made in October 2022 as part of a phased approach.

To aid companies in meeting these quotas, the ministry is providing support for recruitment, training, and career development, along with priority access to nationalization programs through the Saudi Human Resource Development Fund. Employers affected by these changes are advised to review their workforce compositions to ensure compliance and avoid penalties, including the suspension of new work permits and employment transfers.
